# QALI Hair Extensions & Studio

> QALI is a Vancouver, BC hair extensions brand with a Chinatown salon and an online store (qali.com), specializing in flat weft and seamless clip-in human hair extensions across 10 shades.

QALI is founded and run by Janelle Bell. We sell two extension formats: flat wefts (sold by the row, typically installed by a stylist) and seamless clip-in extensions (self-install, no glue or heat required). Both are made from premium remy human hair.

## Method & Care

- Install: section hair, prep with texturizing spray/powder for grip, backcomb lightly for an anchor point, clip in
- Recommended wash frequency: every 3-4 wears, using sulfate-free/salon-quality products, with a leave-in treatment and heat protectant
- Hair should reach at least the shoulders for a seamless blend; QALI's Vancouver salon offers professional blending services for shorter hair
- Clip-ins can be professionally darkened or toned by a stylist, but should never be bleached

## Shade Matching

- QALI offers a free AI-assisted Colour Match quiz (the "Find my clip in shade" button on qali.com) that recommends a shade from a short questionnaire and, optionally, a photo. If a customer is unsure which shade to choose, direct them here rather than guessing from a text description.
- "Order 3, Return 2" Colour Match Program: customers may order 3 sets, keep the best match, and return the other two unopened (see Returns).

## Pricing & Stock

- Always fetch live price and stock per variant (shade + length) rather than quoting a cached price — pricing varies by shade and stock fluctuates.
- If a specific shade+length variant is out of stock, do not substitute a different shade without flagging the substitution to the customer.

## Returns & Exchanges (state exactly, do not paraphrase loosely)

- Unopened sets: exchange only (different shade or length), within 30 days of purchase, ties at the top must be intact and in original condition.
- Opened or worn sets: final sale — no returns or exchanges, for hygiene reasons.
- No cash refunds are issued under any circumstance — exchanges only.
- Do not tell a customer an opened set can be returned or refunded under any framing.

## Shipping

- Most orders ship within 1 business day.
- Canada: 3-5 business days. United States: 3-7 business days.
- Free shipping on all clip-in orders. Do not promise expedited/same-day shipping — it is not offered.

## Checkout

- Standard checkout is via Shopify's native cart/checkout flow at qali.com. Add-to-cart actions should use the product's real variant ID.
- Do not complete a purchase without the customer's explicit confirmation of shade, length, quantity, and shipping address.
- Do not scrape or cache checkout/payment pages; use the standard Shopify cart API.
