QALI SEMI PERMANENT HAIR EXTENSIONS
At QALI Hair Studio we offer an exclusive micro weft method that requires no glueing, braiding or sewing! This system is much gentler on the natural hair and is a quicker installation process than other methods available. We only use ethically sourced, remy hair to ensure high quality hair and a natural seamless result.
Benefits of The QALI Method

NO GLUING OR BRAIDING
This is our favourite part of this technique! Your hair is not tied up in braids or glued, so it allows your hair to shed (as it naturally does) and means you can wash all of your hair instead of parts of it.

QUICK AND EASY TO INSTALL
Since we're not attaching 100-150 individual clusters of hair like some other methods, a lot of time is saved! Both the installation and maintenance process is much faster, so you can get great hair in less time.

EASY TO MAINTAIN
Because the wefts all grow out at the same time it makes maintenance a lot faster and easier than repairing the bonds of small clusters of hair, as required in other techniques. We know it can be hard to fit appointments into your day, so during your maintenance appointments you can hang out at our workstation (aka the Beach), have a coffee, plug in your laptop and work away while our stylists freshen up your extensions.
OUR EXTENSION METHOD
QALI Wefts come in 3 different lengths: 16", 20", & 24" and is offered in 4 different amounts dependant on the amount of hair that is required to ensure the most seamless and natural blend. The amount of hair is determined by the thickness and length of your current hair, your haircut and your hair goals!
1/2 HEAD
The half head is typically for those who are mostly wanting to add thickness. It's perfect if you have fine hair that you want to feel that extra oomph! The best part about a half head is that you get the benefits of having extensions, with less blow dry and styling time. It's not a volume that works for everyone, but for some it's just the perfect amount to fill out their current hair!
3/4 HEAD
The 3/4 head is our most popular volume of hair. It works for most people and definitely makes an impact. We can blend most cuts with a 3/4 head, especially if your hair is fine to regular thickness. You can achieve both length and volume with this baby!
FULL HEAD
The full head has the most volume and is usually required if you're looking to gain a significant amount of length or have thicker hair. It's a lot of upkeep to have a full head, but the results are 100% certified mermaid!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ARE EXTENSIONS ONLY FOR LONGER HAIR? WHAT IF I ONLY WANT VOLUME?
Our installation technique is great for people who want to achieve not only length, but also volume. We often have clients who do not want longer locks, just extra thickness or filling out their ends. In this case, we install the extensions and cut them to match the length of your natural hair. Not wanting extra volume and just length? By positioning the wefts in alternative positions we can help you achieve the length that you want without the added bulk of extra hair.
WHAT ABOUT COLOUR?
Our wefts come in 10 shades that match a broad range of hair colours. Ideally we want our clients to reach their desired hair colour before we install the extensions. Since the extensions are human hair, they can be coloured but we only recommend darkening or toning them. Your stylist will walk you through all of your colour options during your consultation. Since the hair we use is 100% human hair the colour will shift overtime, the same way your natural hair does. Darker shades will lighten up on the ends and blonde shades will warm up so we recommend booking in for a tone every few months or whenever you feel like the colour needs a refresh.

The cost of semi-permanent extensions totally depends on the length, density and style of your natural hair and how many rows of extensions you'll need to ensure it looks natural.
Pricing for QALI Wefts range from $440-$1700, installations range from $100-$275 and maintenances every 5-7wks range from $100-$135.
