Create clean sections using a comb, prep your sections with a texturizing spray or powder to add grit & hold to your hair.
Back comb the section to create an anchor for your clips.
Apply the clip-ins to your section.

Are Clip In Extensions Only For Longer Hair? What If I Only Want Volume?
Clip ins are great for long or short hair. They're great for people who want to achieve not only length, but also volume. We often have clients who do not want longer locks, just extra thickness or filling out their ends. In this case, we just use 1 or 2 rows of the clip ins, instead of all 3.
If you're wanting to add length, you may only need to use 2 rows if your hair is fine, or you can use all 3 rows for maximum length and volume.
What about colour?
Our clip ins come in 10 shades that match a broad range of hair colours. Ideally, you should reach your ideal hair colour on your natural hair before matching to extensions. Not sure which shade is right for you? Order our QALI Colour Ring which includes exact swatches of every shade we offer, making it easy to choose confidently.
Since the extensions are human hair, they can be professionally coloured by a hairstylist, but we only recommend darkening or toning them. Never bleach your clip ins. If you would like them custom toned, we can colour them for you before shipping. Please add 'Clip Ins Custom Root Melt or Tone' to your cart and we will reach out to you to confirm the appropriate shade.

How much do they cost?
Our clip ins are priced based on shade, length and style. Please select your desired product above to see the pricing in your local currency.
How Long Do They Last?
It really depends on a few variables like how often you wear them, the products you use on them and if you heat style the extensions. We recommend washing them with salon quality products every 3-4 wears and always using a leave in treatment and heat protectant. With proper care you could potentially get years of wear out of your clip ins.
How Many Pieces Are In The Package?
Our QALI Clip Ins are just 3, high density rows. This makes them super easy to install, even for someone who has never worn them before.
If your hair is fine, you may be able to just wear 2 rows. This makes them versatile and means they will last you longer too!
How long does my hair have to be?
For a truly seamless blend we recommend that your hair be at least touching your shoulders - the shorter and blunter your hair is the harder it will be to blend to make them look natural. Your hair needs to be long enough for the clips to grip into securely, and to cover the rows so they cannot be seen.
We recommend that regardless of the length of your hair that you see an experienced hairdresser to blend the extensions with your natural hair. We offer this service at QALI if you are in Vancouver.
Can I colour my extensions?
Our extensions are premium quality human hair, and while we do not recommend that you lighten your extensions in any way, a hairstylist who has worked with human hair extensions before will be able to tone them or colour them darker for you. We recommend a strand test prior to colouring the whole set.
How often should I wash them?
We recommend washing your extensions when you notice product build up in them or every 3-4 uses. The packaging includes a care guide.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
Most orders are shipped within 1 business day and shipping times vary based on your location. In Canada you can expect 3-5 business days for most orders.
For USA, you can expect 3-7 business days.
