1. The Shade Doesn't Actually Match Your Hair

A warm blonde extension on cool blonde hair. A flat solid brown against a highlighted brunette. An ashy shade on someone with golden tones. The fix: always start low, a few inches above the nape, and work upward in horizontal sections. Leave a generous amount of your natural hair on top to act as coverage, and never place a weft where your hair naturally parts or where the hairline is visible.
